Alejandra Boudreaux ARRESTED; – A legal representative for the family of the victim in a fatal officer-involved shooting is anticipated to conduct a press conference on Monday morning.
Last week, Brandon Durham was fatally shot by police officers during an altercation involving a home intruder, identified as Alejandra Boudreaux. Recently released body camera footage shows Boudreaux wielding a knife during the confrontation.
During the event, one officer instructed both individuals to drop the knife, while another officer, identified as Officer Alexander Bookman, discharged his weapon six times. The Clark County Coroner has confirmed that Durham succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
Boudreaux, who is currently facing charges of involuntary manslaughter, was scheduled to make her initial court appearance on Monday morning but declined to be transported. In light of this, a judge has mandated that Boudreaux attend her next hearing on Monday, November 25. The attorney representing the Durham family is set to speak to the press at 10 a.m.
