W B Curry, Obituary, Death; – The Champaign County Coroner has confirmed the identity of the 71-year-old man who was fatally stabbed on November 16. The coroner reported that W. B. Curry, a resident of Champaign, succumbed to injuries from a stab wound inflicted during a domestic dispute at his home located in the 2000 Block of Cynthia Drive.
According to police, preliminary investigations suggest that Curry was engaged in a domestic altercation with Dewandee Carter, 67, also of Champaign, when she stabbed him in the chest. Carter has been taken into custody and is awaiting charges related to this incident.
