Dianne Bell Obituary, Death; – The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the 56-year-old woman fatally stabbed on Friday night at a Goodyear Heights group home as Dianne Bell.
Emergency responders arrived at approximately 9:22 p.m. after Bell made a 911 call reporting that a male client had pushed her at the residence located in the 1700 block of Shaw Avenue. Upon their arrival, they found Bell suffering from a visible stab wound, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jarel Wooden, aged 34, has been arrested and charged with murder in relation to this incident. When officers arrived at the group home, they noted that Wooden had injuries to his hands.
Wooden has been booked into the Summit County Jail and is set to be arraigned in the Akron Municipal Court on Monday. In April 2011, Wooden was convicted of domestic violence/menacing and child endangering, both classified as first-degree misdemeanors, in the Akron Municipal Court.
