Michael Perkins Obituary, Death; – The Criminal Investigation Division and Street Crimes Unit of the Richland Police Department are currently looking into a shooting incident that resulted in the death of 36-year-old Michael Perkins on Saturday, November 16.
As reported by RPD, Perkins was engaged in a “confrontation” with another individual while in an alley adjacent to the Uptown Shopping Center, accompanied by a group of people. The assailant shot Perkins multiple times before fleeing the scene. Emergency responders attempted to perform life-saving measures upon their arrival; however, Perkins succumbed to his injuries.
RPD has indicated that they consider this to be an isolated incident and encourages anyone with additional information to contact the station at (509) 942-7340, referencing case number 24-048510.
