Gary Donaldson Obituary, – A 78-year-old cyclist was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle in Wood County on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 6:27 a.m. on Devils Hole Road, situated between Pemberville Road and Lemoyne Road in Troy Township.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reported that the cyclist, identified as Gary Donaldson from Pemberville, was traveling west on the road when he was hit from behind by a vehicle operated by 44-year-old Amy Bushman.
The sheriff’s office confirmed that Donaldson was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing; however, it appears that alcohol was not a contributing factor.
