Nicholas Amar Poole Obituary, Death; – A man from West Blocton lost his life early Saturday morning in a collision involving two vehicles on Interstate 59/20, as reported by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Nicholas Amar Poole.
Poole was traveling southbound on I-59/20 near mile marker 107, in proximity to the I-459 interchange, when the incident took place at approximately 5:19 a.m. on November 22. He was the sole driver and occupant of his vehicle.
Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered Poole in critical condition. The coroner stated that he was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:40 a.m.
The Bessemer Police Department is currently looking into the details surrounding the crash. No further information has been disclosed.
