Ayanna Voyak,Aisha Jules Obituary, Death; – Two residents of Connecticut tragically lost their lives over the weekend when their vehicle veered off Interstate 95 in West Warwick, according to the Rhode Island State Police.
The agency has identified the deceased individuals as Ayanna Voyak from Hartford and Aisha Jules from New London, both aged 19.
The two were traveling in a silver Toyota that was carrying a total of six individuals, as stated by state police in a news release. The vehicle reportedly lost control and exited the highway near Exit 21, subsequently colliding with a tree, according to the news release.
State police indicated that the incident was reported shortly before 11:40 p.m. on Saturday.
Emergency responders were required to extricate all six occupants who were trapped within the wreckage, as noted in the news release.
Voyak was declared dead at the scene, according to state police. Jules was transported to Rhode Island Hospital along with the other four occupants of the vehicle. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries later, as reported by state police.
