Thomas Noble Obituary, Death; – The man who was shot and killed by police in Union Township on Monday has been identified as Thomas Noble, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s office.
Police responded to a 911 call hang-up just after 8:40 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 4200 block of Cider Mill Drive. The incident escalated to a “hostage situation,” police said in a news release.
An officer shot Noble, 47, who was taken to a hospital where he died.
No officers were injured in the incident.
Police have not released any other information about the shooting.
Union Township police have asked Ohio’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation to handle the investigation.
