Ryan M Koontz Obituary, Death; – The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a Walterboro man killed in a traffic collision on US-17 Alternate Saturday evening.
41-year-old Ryan M. Koontz was killed after his SUV was struck by a pickup truck that travelled left of center on US-17A near Clubhouse Road Saturday night around 10:40 p.m., according to the coroner’s office and information from the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Koontz was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:50 p.m., the coroner’s office said.
SCHP and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office are investigating the collision.
