Yaquelin Arias Rivas, Saidia Machado Obituary, Death;- A woman from Texas, along with her sister and ex-boyfriend, was discovered deceased in what appears to be a murder-suicide, according to officials who spoke to news organizations.
A colleague went to check on the woman after she failed to report to work on Monday, September 22, and subsequently called 911, as stated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to KPRC. Within the home located in northwest Houston, the co-worker found three bodies “covered in blood,” as reported in a news release by the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
Deputies arrived at the location, where all three individuals were declared dead. Investigators have identified the deceased as 30-year-old Yaquelin Arias Rivas, her 19-year-old sister Saidia Machado, and ex-boyfriend Sebastian Rodriguez, aged 40, according to KHOU. Authorities suspect that Rodriguez fatally shot both Rivas and Machado before taking his own life, as reported by the station. Rivas was a mother to two young children who were at school during the incident, as noted by KPRC. The investigation is still ongoing.
