Timothy Young Obituary, Death;- On September 20, 2025, at 8:56 a.m., Lincoln County Deputies were dispatched to 17504 South Highway 83 following a report of a collision between a car and a semi-truck.
Upon arrival, Deputies discovered that a southbound vehicle had collided with a semi tractor and propane tanker trailer as it exited the Sundoco Pipeline heading north. At the time of the incident, heavy fog was present in the area, resulting in nearly zero visibility, as reported by the Deputies.
The car’s driver was identified as 55-year-old Timothy Young from Moorefield. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi tractor trailer sustained no injuries in the accident.
A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstructionist has been contacted to conduct the investigation and mapping of the accident scene.
