Stephen R Mariani,Rita Mariani, Obituary, Death;- Two individuals who lost their lives in an accident at Caxambas Bay on Marco Island this past Sunday have been named.
As reported by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Stephen R. Mariani, aged 67, and Rita Mariani, aged 49, collided with a boat lift while operating a jet ski.
According to the FWC, they were thrown from the jet ski upon impact. Both individuals were residents of Marco Island.
The FWC has stated that the incident is still under investigation, and officials are urging anyone who witnessed the event or possesses relevant information to contact the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-FWCC (3922).
