Robert Fleeks Obituary, Death; – The individual who was shot and killed in his SUV at the intersection of 10th and Pike on Wednesday night has been identified.
According to the King County Medical Examiner, 26-year-old Robert Fleeks succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds during the incident that occurred at 9:30 PM.
CHS reported on the shooting while the Seattle Police Department was gathering evidence from the scene, which included three shell casings discovered on the ground outside the gold Chevy Tahoe that Fleeks was operating.
In 2021, Fleeks was found guilty of second-degree murder in connection with a homicide that took place in Pioneer Square in 2018. At the time of the fatal shooting, Fleeks was 19 years old. This conviction was subsequently overturned on appeal due to concerns regarding the statements made by the defendant to law enforcement.
As of now, the Seattle Police Department has not disclosed any arrests related to the murder that occurred last week.
