Matthew Behrooz Chavol Obituary, Death: – A 68-year-old man who tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Reseda has been named. The incident took place on Friday night at approximately 9 p.m., when officers from the West Valley Division of the Los Angeles Police Department received a report of a pedestrian down at the intersection of Reseda and Victory boulevards.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials found that a man had been hit while trying to cross the street. Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded swiftly but unfortunately pronounced the individual dead at the scene. On Monday, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner confirmed the identity of the deceased as Matthew Behrooz Chavol, a resident of Panorama City.
After the collision, the driver of the vehicle remained at the location and fully cooperated with law enforcement.
