Elizabeth Spurgeon Obituary, Death;- Waterloo regional police have confirmed that the body discovered in the early hours of September 12 in North Dumfries has been identified as belonging to a woman from Cambridge.
Authorities report that the body of 36-year-old Elizabeth Spurgeon was located in the vicinity of West River Road and Brant-Waterloo Road.
The police are treating her death as suspicious and suspect that a vehicle may have been involved; however, they have not been able to verify whether the woman was struck by a vehicle.
The police are appealing to the public for any information regarding Spurgeon’s activities in the days leading up to the morning of September 12.
