Noe Luna Obituary, Death; – A man from Tyler has received a 34-year prison sentence for a deadly stabbing that occurred in 2024.
Letierus Drew entered a guilty plea for murder in the 475th District Court, presided over by Judge Taylor Heaton, who sanctioned the plea deal. Drew faced charges for the murder of Noe Luna, 42, at a residence located on County Road 34 in January 2024.
According to arrest records, Drew had been residing at the home with his girlfriend but was prohibited from entering the premises by Luna, who was the father of his girlfriend, after she left for work.
Reports indicate that Drew subsequently forced his entry into the house, engaged in a confrontation with Luna, and stabbed him with a pocket knife, as stated in the arrest documents.
Luna was transported to a hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
