Tristan Hollis Obituary, Death; – The grandmother of a teenager who tragically lost his life in a car accident in Hartselle has disclosed his name and the details of his funeral arrangements.

On September 6, a pursuit involving the Priceville Police Department culminated in a violent crash, resulting in six individuals being transported to the hospital.

Among the six hospitalized, one person remains in critical condition, while 17-year-old Tristan Hollis, as confirmed by his grandmother, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

Hollis, along with three other passengers in the vehicle, was not part of the police chase. Authorities report that the suspect, Archie Hale, crashed into a ditch after colliding with another vehicle, which was subsequently propelled through an intersection.

Beth Campbell Vinson, Hollis’ grandmother, has announced that his visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle. His graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, September 11, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery.

“Tristan will be laid to rest in our family plot next to his aunt Allison Moore-Prater. THANK YOU all for your outpouring of love, concern and most of all your prayers,” Campbell Vinson expressed in a statement to WAFF 48 News.

The suspect, who sustained severe injuries in the accident, is currently hospitalized. Officials indicate that he is not facing charges at this moment, although charges are anticipated.

The officer involved in the pursuit is presently on leave.
