Aaron Lancaster Obituary, Death; – Emergency officials in Somerset County report that a person was fatally injured on Monday night after being hit by a vehicle while riding an E-Bike on Somerset Pike.
The state police have confirmed the identity of the crash victim as 29-year-old Aaron Lancaster.
As per the crash report, Mr. Lancaster was traveling southbound at approximately 8:30 p.m., close to the intersection of Somerset Pike and North Center Avenue, when he was rear-ended by a vehicle moving in the same direction.
Investigators have stated that Mr. Lancaster was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the driver involved in the incident that resulted in Mr. Lancaster’s death.
Officials also noted that the crash led to the closure of a portion of Somerset Pike for several hours.
