Christopher L Burns Obituary, Death; – A man lost his life in a collision with a semi-truck on Friday afternoon in Waushara County.
According to the sheriff’s office, the incident occurred shortly after noon at the intersection of 5th and Archer avenues in Plainfield. Investigators found that a vehicle was traveling east on Archer Avenue when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. Subsequently, the southbound semi-truck collided with the car, causing the semi to overturn as the driver attempted to evade the accident.
The car’s driver was fatally injured and has been identified as Christopher L. Burns, 43, from Hancock.
The semi-truck driver sustained no injuries.
