Richard,Isabella Ungerman Obituary, Death; – Two individuals lost their lives in a collision involving two vehicles earlier this week.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) informed KBTX that troopers were dispatched to the deadly accident on SH 21 near FM 2440 in Lee County shortly after 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 24.
According to the preliminary investigation conducted by Texas DPS, the operator of a Chevrolet Silverado veered into the opposing lane of traffic. The cause of this maneuver remains unclear.
As a result, the driver collided head-on with a Nissan Altima. Both the driver and passenger of the Altima were declared deceased at the scene. They have been identified as Richard and Isabella Ungerman, though their relationship has not been specified. Their families have been informed.
No additional details have been disclosed. The Texas DPS is continuing its investigation into the incident.
