Cortney Michelle King Obituary, Death; – A 43-year-old woman from Saginaw Township and two men sustained injuries in a shooting incident on Saturday evening.
As reported by Saginaw Police, officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Emerson and Howard Streets on Saturday, August 23, at 9:45 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities identified the woman as Cortney Michelle King, who was transported to a nearby hospital where she was subsequently pronounced dead.
In addition, two other individuals were reported injured in the shooting: an 18-year-old man from Buena Vista Township and another 18-year-old man from Saginaw. Both victims were taken to a different local hospital with gunshot injuries.
The Saginaw Police, along with detectives from the Michigan State Police Major Crimes Unit, are currently investigating the shooting. As of now, no arrests have been made.
