Abdullah Al Husain,Chong Kim Obituary, Death;- Authorities on Thursday publicly named a septuagenarian and a teenage boy who tragically lost their lives in traffic accidents in the San Diego area over the past 10 days.
Just before 9 a.m. on Sunday, 79-year-old Chong Kim from Valley Center suffered fatal injuries after being involved in a collision while driving an SUV on southbound Interstate 15, north of Camino Del Norte in Rancho Penasquitos, as reported by the county Medical Examiner’s Office.
Kim was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
Seventeen-year-old Abdullah Al Husain, a resident of Spring Valley, was killed around 7:30 p.m. on July 28, when the sedan he was operating veered off the road in the 1600 block of East Palomar Street in Chula Vista and collided with a palm tree, according to the county agency.
He succumbed to his injuries prior to paramedics being able to transport him to a hospital.
