Angela Pagan Obituary, Death; – An 81-year-old woman, injured in a hit-and-run incident in Bridgeport on Sunday night, has passed away, as reported by the police.

According to the police, they received multiple calls around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday indicating that a woman had sustained serious injuries after being struck at the intersection of Park Avenue and Maplewood Avenue, with the driver fleeing the scene.

Responding to the incident, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics attempted to assist the 81-year-old woman, identified by the police as Angela Pagan. She was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:29 p.m., according to police reports.

The investigation is ongoing, and police stated that, based on initial findings, the vehicle that struck Pagan was traveling north on Park Avenue and continued northward after the collision. The Serious Crash Investigation Team is currently conducting the investigation.
