Andrew Klaus Obituary, Death; – Homicide detectives from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department have identified the individual who was fatally shot last week in the Greater Ville neighborhood of the city.
As reported by a police spokesperson, the incident occurred on the evening of July 8. Officers were notified of a shooting in the 3100 block of Vine Grove Avenue shortly after 7:20 p.m.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered the victim, Andrew Klaus, lying on the ground with a head injury. Klaus was declared dead at the scene. He was 19 years old.
Investigators are currently working to ascertain the circumstances that led to the shooting.
