Jesse Jones Obituary, Death; – A 28-year-old woman was apprehended on Friday in relation to a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday in Middletown, specifically in the parking lot of a bar.
The Middletown Division of Police, along with the Kettering Police Department, took Dyshonna T. Goins into custody, and she is currently facing a charge of felonious assault, as reported by the Middletown Division of Police.
“This arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting that transpired in Middletown during the early morning hours of June 16, 2025,” stated the police.
On Monday, emergency crews responded to reports of gunfire at the parking lot of Bar II, located at 1200 Elliott Drive, around 2:40 a.m.
Jesse Jones, aged 36, lost his life in the shooting, and three other individuals sustained injuries. Authorities indicated that the altercation originated in the parking lot of Bar II rather than inside the establishment. Video evidence from nearby buildings was collected.
