Jonathan Thompson Obituary, Death; – The Fayette County Coroner has confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning on Boston Road as 49-year-old Jonathan Thompson from Lexington.
As reported by the police, the incident occurred at approximately 2:40 a.m. on June 17 in the 3600 block of Boston Road, close to Dylan Place and Man o’ War Boulevard. Investigators indicate that Thompson lost control of the vehicle he was operating, resulting in a crash. He was declared dead at the scene.
The coroner has stated that Thompson’s death was due to blunt force injuries.
There were no other vehicles involved in the incident, and the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. A portion of Boston Road was shut down for several hours while authorities managed the scene.
