Justin Martinez Rodriguez Obituary, Death; – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a pedestrian who lost his life in an accident on the South Side. Justin Martinez Rodriguez, aged 28, succumbed to blunt force trauma, as reported by the medical examiner’s office.
The incident was classified as an accident. The collision occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Thursday in the 1200 block of Southwest Military Drive at Garnett. According to San Antonio police, Rodriguez crossed Southwest Military Drive from the north to the south outside of a designated crosswalk.
The operator of a 2025 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling east on Southwest Military Drive when they collided with Rodriguez during his crossing, as stated by the police. Rodriguez suffered critical injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities indicated that the motorcycle driver stopped to provide assistance and fully cooperated with the investigation, confirming that no charges are currently pending in this matter.
