Christopher Keith Obituary, Death; – Last weekend in Sylacauga, one individual was fatally shot while another survived the incident. The Sylacauga Police Department reported that officers arrived at East 5th Street on May 11, where they discovered shell casings on the ground. Subsequently, they were informed of two gunshot victims located nearby on Curran Street.
According to police, both men were found with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle and were transported to hospitals for medical care. One of the victims, identified as Christopher Keith, 48, from Childersburg, succumbed to his injuries at UAB Hospital in Birmingham the following day.
