Tiffany Johnson Obituary, Death; – Two individuals lost their lives in Jackson following a dispute that escalated into a fatal shooting on Sunday.
As reported by JPD Chief Joseph Wade, 36-year-old Jarvis Anderson engaged in an argument with another man, which resulted in him shooting and killing the man in the 1100 block of McDowell Circle. Subsequently, Anderson sought refuge at a neighboring residence. According to law enforcement, he then shot and killed the woman residing there, identified as Tiffany Johnson, after she refused to assist him.
Wade stated that Johnson was murdered because she would not “hide him out.” Anderson has been apprehended and faces charges of two counts of murder, as well as possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
The JPD also reported the recovery of two stolen vehicles at the scene, although it remains unclear whether they are related to the incident.
