Linda Knecht Obituary, Death; – A woman who tragically lost her life in an accident in Barrett Township has been named.
The Monroe County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as 63-year-old Linda Knecht, a resident of Barrett Township, who was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Route 447 on Saturday evening.
According to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, Knecht’s 2007 Chevrolet Malibu overturned after she lost control while navigating a curve, resulting in her being ejected from the vehicle. She was declared dead at the scene.
The cause of death was determined to be blunt force injuries, and the incident has been classified as accidental. The Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department is conducting an investigation into the accident.
