Darlisha T McIlwain,Johnnie B Elmore Sr Obituary, Death;- The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified two individuals who lost their lives in a murder-suicide incident that occurred last month.
Darlisha T. McIlwain, aged 43, and Johnnie B. Elmore Sr., aged 55, both residents of Moncks Corner, succumbed to gunshot injuries.
Deputies arrived at a residence on Cicadas Song Drive shortly after 6:30 a.m. on March 12, following a call from a family member to emergency services. According to Cpl. Carli Carr, the bodies were discovered at the scene.
Initial investigations suggest that the fatalities were related to domestic circumstances. Detectives are treating the shooting as a murder-suicide, although it remains unclear who fired the shots.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
