Daniel Reiter Obituary, Death; – A 58-year-old man from Wisconsin lost his life on Tuesday morning in a tragic head-on collision involving two vehicles near Rhinelander.
As reported by the Wisconsin State Patrol North Central Region, officers were dispatched at 8 a.m. on Tuesday to the scene of the accident, which occurred on U.S. 8 at the intersection with Spring Creek Road. Preliminary reports suggest that a GMC pickup truck traveling west crossed the center line and collided with a Toyota sedan heading east. The driver of the Toyota, identified as Daniel Reiter, 58, from Tomahawk, succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the GMC, 53-year-old Kristin Henrickson from Abbotsford, sustained minor injuries. Currently, no charges have been filed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
