Justin Ryan Schindler Obituary, Death; – The identity of the motorcyclist who lost his life on Churn Creek Road in Redding on Wednesday has been disclosed by the Shasta County Coroner’s Office.
According to the Redding Police Department, 38-year-old Justin Ryan Schindler from Millville was operating his motorcycle at an excessive speed just north of Presidio Street at approximately 6:55 a.m. on Wednesday. He subsequently crossed the double yellow lines and collided head-on with a box truck, as reported by the police.
The driver of the box truck was unable to evade the collision. Despite the life-saving measures attempted by bystanders and medical personnel, the Redding Police Department confirmed that Schindler was pronounced dead at the scene.
Churn Creek Road was closed for several hours between Presidio Street and Dana Drive. Authorities are requesting that anyone with information about this incident contact the Redding Police Department Traffic Unit at (530) 225-4200. The investigation is ongoing.
