Daniel Reiter Obituary, Death; – Newschain has confirmed the identity of the Tomahawk man who lost his life in a head-on collision on US Highway 8 on Tuesday.
Daniel Reiter was traveling east in a Toyota Camry when he was struck by a GMC pickup that crossed the center line. According to investigators, the 58-year-old succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the GMC has been identified as Kristin Henrickson from Abbotsford, who sustained minor injuries in the accident. Both individuals were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision, and authorities have determined that alcohol did not play a role in the incident.
The crash resulted in the closure of a section of Highway 8 near Spring Creek Road for several hours.
