Edward Johnson Obituary, Death; – A 61-year-old man was killed when a tree fell on his home during severe storms in Atlanta early Sunday morning. Edward Johnson was crushed by a tree when it fell on his home. His daughter, Tamaya Jones, told WANF that she had to dig her mother out of the home.
Firefighters were called to the home around 4:50 a.m. as severe weather was rolling into the area. They spend hours working to try and rescue Johnson.
“He was an amazing man, a loving husband, and father,” Jones said about her dad.
