Rebecca Davis Obituary, Death; – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who tragically lost her life in a car accident that occurred in December 2024.

In a statement released on Monday, the DCSO named the woman who died in the collision at the intersection of Sorensen Parkway and Wenningh off Road in early December 2024. The victim, identified as Rebecca Davis, 79, from Omaha, was the driver of the Ford Fiesta that was involved in the incident with a Honda Pilot. She succumbed to the injuries sustained during the crash.

The driver of the Honda, a 17-year-old female from Omaha, has also been identified by the DCSO. However, her name and likeness are being withheld due to her age. The DCSO has reported that the 17-year-old has been charged with misdemeanor Motor Vehicle Homicide.

Furthermore, the statement indicates that the young driver has had previous encounters with the DCSO, including an incident where she was cited for exceeding the speed limit by driving 61 miles per hour in a 35 MPH zone and for improperly passing another vehicle.
