Charles Purvis Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost his life in a weekend accident in the Pee Dee region has been confirmed as a resident of Horry County.
According to Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutkcen, 34-year-old Charles Purvis from Aynor succumbed to injuries sustained in a collision that occurred on Sunday morning along U.S. 378 near Johnsonville.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that Purvis was operating a Chevrolet Pickup when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, and subsequently overturned. Additional information regarding the incident is not yet available. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the accident.
