Raymond Newell Obituary, Death;- Authorities are conducting an investigation into a homicide following the shooting death of a Center Point resident on Sunday night.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 58-year-old Paul Raymond Newell, who was shot at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of 2nd Place Northeast. Newell was taken to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries less than three hours later.
